─鄉公所 林鄉長給予冬山老街在全國特有的(水道、鐵道、車道)匯集處為老街命名為【冬山道之驛】─

　　冬山鄉(冬瓜山老街)自1810年開發至今，已有200多年歷史。冬山村冬山路，是冬山鄉行政機關所在地，冬山路是昔日來往蘇澳、羅東、宜蘭的主要街道，直到台九線由它的外圍開闢取代！ 這裡有市場、餐飲店，可在此採購旅遊糧食。
　　Dongshan Township (Wongaguashan Old Street) has been developed since 1810 and has a history of more than 200 years. Dongshan Village in Dongshan Village is the seat of the administrative agency of Dongshan Township. Dongshan Road is the main street from Suao, Luodong and Yilan in the past, until the Taijiu Line is replaced by its periphery! There are markets and food and beverage outlets where you can purchase travel food.
　　根據文獻指出，林國寶於西元1810年積極開發（冬瓜山老街），隨後諸多先民前來經營開墾。自噶瑪蘭時代，由於發達的水運自冬山河沿利澤簡港經珍珠里簡，至冬瓜山街上，民生物資補給，皆以冬瓜老街為集散地。 冬山老街上的「定安宮」(媽祖廟)殿中所供奉之天上聖母即為當時護佑先賢開墾之神尊。另殿旁供奉的先賢牌位即是林國寶，當地居民供奉至今，以感念先賢之德澤。

The Virgin Mary in the temple of Ding'an Palace (Mazu Temple) on the old streets of Dongshan was the god of the sages. The sages of the sages enshrined next to the temple are Lin Guobao, and the local residents have been offering them to the present.
